Acoustic Analysis

Bellwether conducts acoustic analysis of machines or environments in order to identify specific acoustic events. We package the results in custom hardware and software in order to provide automated analysis.

Our work is both the labor of acoustic signature analysis and the product of automated tooling (hardware or software) to identify the desired acoustic event.

Many industries rely on aural cuing somewhere along their process. People can become experts in the tones for which they listen, but few people understand what makes the sounds different. Why does a C on a piano sound different than a C on a trumpet? With our combined acoustic experience, we are in a position to dissect these signature sounds into their unique fingerprint. By rigorously characterizing the sound, we are able to program automated services to assist in loud or austere acoustic environments.
